Stuart Wood AM QC is one of Her Majesty’s Counsel.
He is often selected as counsel of choice in “bet the farm” matters in the higher courts. His cases generally involve the management of complex legal, political and societal issues.
He was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia on Australia Day 2019, “for significant service to the legal profession, particularly in the area of industrial relations”.
Stuart is a member of the board of the National Portrait Gallery, the Secretary of the Samuel Griffith Society, and the non-executive Chairman of Great Southern Press, a global publishing and events company with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Stuart is married to Samantha. They live in Melbourne and have four children.
